Context: During the crypto boom of 2017, many figures on YouTube such as Box Mining, Data Dash and David Hay established a cult of followers by fueling speculative buying, while providing little knowledge about the technology behind many of these new cryptocurrencies.

Design Challenge: In a market saturated with disinformation, how can we stand out as a trustworthy source of cryptojournalism?

 

Brief: Cryptonauts strives to educate the market by focusing on the technology and theory behind what makes crypto a paradigm shifting technology, rather than talking about it in relation to its market potential.

Logo Inspiration

The guidelines for the logo was to incorporate the phrase to the moon somehow. Hence the overall theme of space, rockets and astronauts. The client wanted to avoid having any resemblance of a coin or cryptocurrency, and instead focus on concepts related to space to represent the infinite potential of blockchain as a technology.
